If you have visited the webpage of my book, the Chernobyl Zone Survival Guide, you may have read that a ‘pseudo-audiobook’ version of it is in development. You may also have wondered what was happening with it as there has been no updates about it for some time.
Due to my work with Coin-Drop.com and now Exclusively Games I have had very little time to work on it, however I have now finished section one – Introduction to the zone. Its four parts have been uploaded to YouTube and are available for viewing (listening?) right now. The links are below:
The Chernobyl Zone Survival Guide 01: Introduction and Acknowledgements
The Chernobyl Zone Survival Guide 02: Prologue
The Chernobyl Zone Survival Guide 03: Introduction to The Zone, Part One - The Human Element
The Chernobyl Zone Survival Guide 04: Introduction to The Zone, Part Two - The Size of The Zone and Folklore
Note that there are a few small differences between the pseudo-audiobook version and the PDF version. These are mainly related to tables, since trying to describe a table of data to a listener who cannot see said table is er, ‘tricky’. The information in said tables has been written (spoken?) in prose instead.
Let me know what you think of these pseudo-audiobook samples. If enough people like them I will record the rest of the book and upload it in instalments.
NB - The full-length PDF version can be obtained for free by following this link.
Speak to you all again soon.
